2.4 디바이스 드라이버 -> 2.6으로 포팅작업에 대해..

안녕하세요..

2.4 디바이스 드라이버 하나를 2.6 커널에 맞게 수정중입니다.

사실 2.6 커널에서 디프리케이트된 api 들만 2.6 용으로 바꿔서 써주면 금방 될줄 알았는데, 이게 좀 문제가 있네요.

일단 x86 에서는 위와 같은 방법으로 손쉽게 구동이 되었구요.

문제는 이 디바이스를 xscale 에서도 사용해야 하는데,

이녀석은 위와같은 방법으로 했더니, 2.6 커널에선 작동을 안하는 겁니다.

(기존 2.4 드라이버는 xscale arm 이든, x86 이든 잘 동작했었거든요. 엔디안 처리도 잘 되어있고.. )

이럴 경우 어떠한 부분들을 살펴봐야할까요?

하드웨어 제작업체는 기존에 이 하드웨어 제작팀이 회사를 다 나가버려서, 2.6 디바이스에 관한 컨설트는 불가능하다고 답병르 들어서 직업 해결하는 수 밖엔 없는데..

엔디안 문제는 아닌거같구요.
