우분투 서버이전에 관한 문제

현재 xeon에 ubuntu amd64버전을 설치하여 사용하고 있습니다.

회사 인트라넷용으로 사용하는 웹서버이구요..

장비의 퍼포먼스가 아까워서 일반 PC로 이전을 하려고 합니다.

셋팅되어 있는거 하나씩 옮길 수도 있겠지만, 시간이 넘 오래 걸리고 ㅠㅠ

간단하게 해결 할 수 있는 방법이 없을까 해서 이렇게 질문을 합니다.

혹시 하드만 바꿔다는 걸로 해결이 되지 않을까요? 설치 이 후 커널을 새로 컴파일 한적은 없습니다.

짧은 생각으로는 가능할 것도 같긴한데..

혹시 시도해 보신 분이 계시다면 조언 부탁드리겠습니다.

어디선가 봤는데, 대략 다음과 같이 하면 될겁니다.

1. 기존 시스템에 설치된 모든 패키지 리스트를 뽑는다.
2. 새시스템에 뽑은 리스트를 모두 설치한다.
3. 기존 시스템에 있는 유저 데이터를 옮긴다.
4. configuration 등이 있는 /etc/ 디렉토리는 백업후 통째로 옮겨도 무방

다 된것 같은데, 아닌가요?
