Postfix로 메일이 보내지지 않습니다.

Mandrake 8.2에 postfix를 사용하고 있습니다.
사실 저는 리눅스를 잘 모르기때문에 제 친구가 추천하고 설치까지 다 해
주었는데
어느날부터(제 친구가 아파치서버를 업그레이드 한 이후로)
Outlook express에서 메일을 보내려고 하면

The connection to the server has failed.
Account 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx', Server 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx', Protocol
POP3, Port 110, Secure(SSL) No, Socket Error 10061, Error

라는 에러메세지가 뜹니다.
서버 세팅에 무슨 문제가 있는지 궁금해서 이렇게 글을 남깁니다.
빨리 메일이 되게 해야 하는데, 정말 큰일입니다.
