startX 시 에러....

다음과 같은 에러가 떠요

XIO fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server"0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
노트북(센스690)인데 xfree86(4.2)를 깔고 나서 xf86cfg에서 이것저것
설정하고 나서 startx를 치는 안되네요 제발 쫌 ...가르쳐주세요
또 xconfigurator도 안들어가지네요 segmentation fault라고 떠요..
제발 ....
