커널 설정파일(.config) 생성은 어디에?

안녕하세요...

다름이 아니라...RedHat 9.0을 설치했습니다...

커널 버전은 2.4.20이고요...

커널을 2.4.32로 업그레이드 할려고 하는데...menuconfig에서의 설정들을 모두 알지 못해서 커널컴파일 이후에 많은 문제가 생깁니다.

그래서 이전 버전의 커널 설정파일을 로드해서 2.4.32로 컴파일 하고 싶은데요...

보통은 .config 파일로 존재를 하지만...

기본적으로 설치되는 2.4.20은 이상하게도 .config 파일이 없습니다.

제가 모르는 어딘가에 있는것인가요?

config폴더 안에 보면 몇가지들이 있기는 한데 확실하지 않습니다...

조언 부탁드립니다..^^

아..원래는 menuconfig할 때 커널 옵션 선택이 기본적으로 이전 셋팅으로 되는지 알았는데 그게 아니더군요...ㅜ
