[질문]Fedora Core 4 vsftpd 이상 동작에 관한 질문

현재 Fedora Core 4를 이용해 cluster를 구축중입니다.
PC 4대가 있는데 2대는 DVD를 이용해서 설치를 하였고, 나머지 2대는 CD를 이용하여 설치하였습니다.
그런데 DVD를 이용해 설치한 2대의 PC가 조금 이상합니다.

증상인즉...

ftp 로그인을 하면 로그인한 계정의 홈 디렉토리가 보입니다. 여기서 상위로 한번 나가면 빈 디렉토리라고 나옵니다. CD로 설치한 2대의 PC는 등록된 사용자 디렉토리가 보이는데...
ftp는 FlashFXP와 FileZila를 이용합니다.

OS 설치 후 아무런 설정을 한 게 없습니다. 그리고 업데이트도 한적이 없습니다.
퍼미션도 4대의 피씨가 모두 동일합니다.

혹시 왜 이런지 알고 계시는 분 좀 알려주시면 감사하겠습니다.
