리눅스에서 samba 설치시 네트워크 오류

레드 햇 7.3에 깔려있는 삼바 환경 설정을 할고 나서
start를 시키면...
프로세스는 뜨거든여...
근데 네트워크를 못 잡아여....
그리고 사용자 인증을 설정하는 부분에 security = SERVER 로 하면 .....
되는데 share 로 하면 안되거든여.....
왜 그렇지여??
그리고 계정을 어디서 만들어야 사용할 수 있나여??
homes 에 valid users = 에 계정 이름을 쓰면 안되나여??
급하거든여....
알려주세여~~~^^;

안녕하세요?
허접이지만 답변드립니다.

먼저 client pc에서 network이 안잡힌다는걸루 이해하고 말씀 드리겠습니
다.
global parameter에 저 같은 경우엔는 security = share로 해서 안잡힌적
이 없었습니다. 물론 제가 setting을 했던 machine이 linux는 아니구
여.. AIX랑 HP 머신들이었긴 하지만여...
그리고 client pc에서 컴퓨터 찾기 해서.. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx이렇게 ip를 직
접 입력해서는 안잡힌적이 있었습니다. 그 해결 책으로는 원인은 모르겠지
만.. pc 쪽에 c\windows\lmhosts 파일에다가 "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
red_devil"이렇게 setting을 해주고 컴퓨터 찾기에서 red_devil을 찾으니
깐 올라 왔던 적이 있습니다. red_devil이라는 명칭은 global parameter
에 있는 netbios name을 적어줘야 하구여..
lmhosts파일의 위치는 98 의 경우는 C\windows 밑이구여.. NT계열은
winnt/system32 였던가 그럴거예여... nt 계열에서 그래도 안잡히면 내컴
퓨터/등록정보에서 lmhosts가져오기를 setting해주니깐 되었던 적이 있습
니다.

그리고 samba 환경파일내에서 사용되는 guest account나 valid user는 실
제로 unix system에 존재하는 userID를 사용하는 걸루 알고 있습니다.
(/etc/passwd 파일내에 존재)

환경파일 내용을 올려주시면 조금더 도움이 될지도 모르겠네여..
물론 unix system이나 client pc에 영향을 많이 받겠지만여.....
