C++로 짠 프로그램 valgrind를 이용할때 어떻게 하나요?

서버를 구현중에 있는데요
Pthrad를 이용했습니다....
단순히 메시지마다..스레드 생성해서 처리해주는...

그런데...세그먼트 폴트가 뜨더라구요..그래서...잘못된 메모리 참조로 알고.디거깅중에..
valgrind가 있다는걸 알았습니다.

대충.이용법은 알겠는데요...
원래 이프로그램이 이렇게 느린가요?

언어는...C++을 이용했구요...

g++ -o test xxxxxxx....
라는 옵션으로 컴파일해서

valgrind --tool=memcheck --leak-check=yes --show-reachable=yes --log-file="./valgrind_log1" -v ./test

라고 했는데요..이상하게 오래걸리네요...
혹시..C++으로 만든 프로그램은 다르게 적용해야될까요?
