swap 상태는 알고 있지 않을까 하는 맘과 함께....(윗분 말쌈대로지요..)
알고 있으시다면 왜 스왑이 저모양이 되었을까를 보시면 될듯..
즉..스왑을 늘리시던가..
물리적 메모리를 늘리시던가....
아님 쓸데없는 프로세서를 정리하시던가;;
혹시 자체 개발된 플그램이 있다면 그 프로세서가 메모리만 왕창 먹고
일 끝난담에 토해내지는 않는건 아닌지도 확인해보시길...

저도 비슷한 현상이 있습니다. 메모리 1GB 스왑 2GB를 사용하고 있는데요.
httpd 프로세스가 좀비 프로세스를 양산하면서 10-30분간 서버가 정지되었다가 다시 사용가능한 상태로 되돌아오고는 합니다.
혹시 어떻게 해결하셨는지 궁금하네요.

저는 dmesg의 마지막에
Out of Memory: Kill process 12558 (httpd) score 84120 and children.
Out of memory: Killed process 12558 (httpd).

이런 기록이 남아있는걸로 보아서는 웹서버쪽 문제인듯 한데, 원인을 알 수가 없네요.

혹시 아시는 분 계시면 답글좀 부탁드립니다.
