우분투에서 firefox2 설치하기

우분투 dapper를 쓰고 있습니다.

firefox 2를 쓰고 싶은데 잘 모르겠지만 공식적인 소스리스트에는 안올라오는거같네요..

어떻게 설치하고 쓰고계시는지?

맨처음엔 소스리스트에 edgy를 추가해서 설치했는데요. firefox 2 외 의존성 때문에 같이 깔린 edgy 라이브러리들 때문에 beryl도 망가지고 어쩌고 해서~;

dapper에서 firefox2를 설치해보고싶어요~ 리눅스 한지가 얼마 안되서, 이런거에 좀 난감하네요.

쉽고 당연한거라도 어이없어하지 마시고 T.T 설치하는데 좋은 방법 있으면 가르쳐주세요 :-)

모질라 홈페이지에서 바이너리를 받아서 사용하는 수밖에 방법이 없는거 같습니다.
저도 대퍼에서 불여우2를 설치하려고 포럼을 좀 뒤져봤는데
아직까지는 불여우2가 소스리스트에 올라와있다는 글이 검색이 안되고
있습니다..쩝;;;;

다음 버전인 6.10을 설치하시면 안에 파폭2.0이 설치되어 있는것을 보실수 있을것입니다;;;;

킁.. 이쪽은 mozilla.org를 무시하고 firefox로 가기로 했나보네요.

데비안의 경우 IceWeasel로 포크한다는 것 같습니다.

다른 사람들 잘 된다는 코멘트를 보고 안그래도 그 글을 보고서 했었는데 말이죠. 절차대로 스크립트 실행해서 firefox 띄워보니, firefox 시작중~ 이라고 데스크바에 뜨다가 그냥 종료되더라구요. 이거 시냅틱으로 firefox 1.5 재설치해봐도 여전히 같은 증상때문에 인터넷 할수도 없고 -_-

그러다가 우분투 한번 엎고; 이렇게 질문드리는거에요~ 혹시 왜 그런지 아시는지..?

sudo apt-get build-dep firefox 하신 후 edgy의 소스 패키지를 받으셔서 동봉(?)된 패치를 하시고 "debian/rules"(?) 파일을 root 권한으로 실행하셔서 패키지를 직접 만드시는 수도 있긴 있을 것입니다.

수동 backport요.

여신후 터미널 실행 선택 하시면 간단하게 설치되는 스크립트 입니다.
다운로드까지 알아서 받으니므로 파폭2.0파일 받으실필요없이 실행만 하시면 됩니다.

터미널에서 실행하실려면 첨부파일 받으신후
# chmod +x firefox2.sh 권한주시고
# ./firefox2.sh 실행하셔두 되구요..

ps:참 기존파일 백업은 ./mozilla_backup에 되니 참고하세요.^^

스크립트 파일일 경우 게시판에 올리면 문제가 생기는 모양입니다.
그래서.. 검은해님 말씀대로 확장자를 변경해서 클릭해서 소스 볼수있게 했습니다.

그냥 클릭하시면 소스통채로 나올겁니다.
카피해서 firefox2.sh로 저장하시거나
오른쪽마우스로 클릭해서 다른이름으로 저장하시면 됩니다.

firefox2.txt 를 받으신후 firefox2.sh로 변경후
앞서말한 방법으로 실행하시면 될겁니다.

Ps:이번엔 제대로 될려나..^^

받아서 실행했습니다.
그런데 실행해도 아무 반응이 없어서 터미널에서 firefox해보니

sudo ./firefox 하지 마시고 ./firefox만 해서 다시 터미널에서 실행하세요.

위의 에러(E: /var/lib/apt/lists/lock 잠금 파일을 얻을 수 없습니다 - open (11 자원이 일시적 으로 사용 불가능함)
E: 목록 디렉토리를 잠글 수 없습니다)로 소스리스트 중복이 생겨서 그런거니 신경쓰지 않아도 되고..
파폭 실행해서 버전확인해보세요..

그리고 마우스 클릭해서 실행할때 터미널로 실행을 선택해서 실행해야 합니다.(클릭으로 설치를 원하면)
터미널에서 실행권한 주고 실행하신후 나온 메세지를 보면 제대로 설치 된겁니다.

firefox해서 안돼길래 sudo를 붙여본거구요..
지우고 다시깔아보기도하고 edgy로 업글한다음 지우고 다시 깔아도 마찬가지고..
(업글은 gksudo "update-manager -c -d" 이렇게 했음)
이것저것 해봤지만 마찬가지라서 결국... 포기하고

포맷해버리고 edgy받아서 쿠분투로 깔았습니다.
파폭을 깔아야하나 망설이는중입니다. 또 안될까봐..

대퍼 새로깔고 테스트 까지 해봤는데.. 저는 잘됩니다.
그리고 edgy까시면 기본으로 파폭2.0이 빌드 돼어있을텐데요?

날짜 쫌지난건데 다른분들 참고하시라고 올립니다. 위에 /opt/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 6079 세그멘테이션 오류 "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

에러는 scim환경 설정 부분 때문에 생기는 문제입니다./etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/ko_KR 파일을 수정해서

GTK_IM_MODULE 와 QT_IM_MODULE 을 scim에서 xim 으로 고쳐 줍니다.

xim으로 수정하여도 이상없이 한글은 입력 됩니다

이렇게 고쳐주면 위의 에러는 사라집니다.^^
