[질문] emacs 에 입력시 문제가 발생했습니다.

ubuntu (dapper)에서 emacs를 사용하고 있습니다.

증상은 다음과 같습니다.

emacs21을 띄우면 입력하면 아무런 반응이 없습니다.
emacs-snapshot를 띄우면 어떤 문자를 입력하던지 "s-"라고 붙어서 입력되었다고 나옵니다.
ex> 'a' 입력시 "s-a is undefined" 라고 나옵니다.
ex> 'C-a' 입력시 "C-s-a is undefined"라고 나옵니다.

혹시나 해서 ~/.emacs 하고 ~/.emacs.d 를 옮겨 놓고 해봤지만 똑같은 증상이 발생합니다.

단. "emacs -nw"로 gnome-terminal에 띄우고 사용하면 아무런 문제가 없습니다.

혹시 같은 증상이 있거나 해결하신 분 답변 좀 해주세요~~

그리고 emacs를 바로 실행한거랑 emacs -nw로 터미널에 띄울때 환경변수나 설정을 다른데서 읽는다면 어디에 있습니까?
