부팅 가능한 ISO 만드는 방법...

제가 커널과 initrd를 만들고... boot.img를 4MB 정도로 만들어서 VFAT 파일 시스템을 생성 하고 syslinux를 사용해서 부팅 가능한 이미지를 만들었습니다. 근대 문제는 이걸 부팅 가능 CD로 만들려고 하는데

# mv /smb/boot.img .
# mkisofs -R -T -b . -c boot.cat /x.iso ...

이렇게 하니 오류가 나네요... 부트 색터의 크기가 4 라고 하면서 허용되지 않는 크기라고 나오네요... 이거 말고 뭔가 다른 방법 없을까요... 메세지는 이렇습니다. 

Size of boot image is 4 sectors -> mkisofs: Error - boot image "(NULL POINTER)" has not an allowable size.

커널과 initrd 사이즈가 너무 커서 그러는 건지 흠... 그럼 다른 부팅 CD들은 어떻게 되는 건지 모르겠네요.. 지금 우분투 CD 이미지 뜻어 볼려고 하는 중인데 쉽지 않을 것 같네요.
