젠투 리눅스 설치중 the root block device is unspecified or not detected.

젠투리눅스 설치하고난뒤에에 The root block device is unspecified or not detected. 오류가 뜨네요

지금 노트북에 설치중인데

sda2 boot
sda3 swap
sda4 /

설정해 놓았습니다.

sata라서 sata모듈도 올려주고 커널 컴파일했구

grub설정은

default 0
timeout 5
splashimage=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz

title=Gentoo Linux
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/kernel-genkernel-x86-2.6.17-gentoo-r7 root=/dev/ram0 real_root=/dev/sda4
initrd /boot/initramfs-genkernel-x86-2.6.17-gentoo-r7

입니다 sda1에는 윈도우가 설치되있어서 2부터 4까지 리눅스 파티션으로 잡았습니다.
뭐가 문제일지 ..

커널에서 sata관련 커널은 노트북 칩셋을 몰라서 일단 전부 올렸습니다.
노트북은 도시바 새틀라이트m100

루트 파티션에 적용된 파일시스템 모듈을 커널에 포함시키셨나요? 포함안시키셨으면 real_root에 지정된 파티션을 못읽어낼 수도 있습니다.

genkernel을 사용하셨다면... 아래와 같이 init와 ramdisk 부분을 포함해보세요.
kernel /boot/kernel-genkernel-x86-2.6.17-gentoo-r7 root=/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc ramdisk=8192 real_root=/dev/sda4
