ntp 시간대 문제...

ntpd를 이용하니 시간이 이상하게 설정이 되는 문제가 있습니다. 제가 무엇을 잘못했는지 궁금합니다.

일단 기존 상태는 이렇습니다.

/etc/localtime은 서울 시간으로 되어 있습니다.

$ sudo cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Seoul /etc/localtime
이거나
$ sudo cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/ROK /etc/localtime

두 가지 다 해 보았습니다.

/etc/conf.d/clock에

CLOCK='local' 이렇게 되어 있습니다. 제가 윈도와 듀얼 부팅을 하기 때문입니다.

$ sudo /etc/init.d/ntpd start

ntp 데몬을 켰습니다. 그리고 그놈에서 데스크탑->관리->시간과 날짜로 가니 인터넷 서버와 시간 동기화가 체크가 되어 있습니다. 위에 시간대 설정 버튼을 눌러서 Asia/Seoul로 맞춥니다. 적당한 서버를 고르고 확인을 누르면...

현재 시간은 9월 6일 오후 9시(KST)입니다.
맞춰지는 시간은 9월 7일 오전 6시(KST) 입니다.
데스크탑의 우측 상단에 나오는 시간도 엉터리이고 콘솔에서 date를 입력하면 엉터리 시간에 (KST)가 붙어서 나옵니다.

결국 9시간의 차이가 생기는데 KST가 GMT+9라서 그런 것이겠지요.

무엇이 잘못되었을까요... 지금은 ntpd 끄고 수동으로 date 맞췄습니다.

$ date
2006. 09. 06. (수) 21:19:54 KST
