윈도우 2000에 있는 하이퍼 터미널로 리눅스에 접근하려는데 잘

레드헷 6.2가 깔려 있는 게이트웨이와 윈도우 2000이 깔려 있는 컴퓨터를
시리얼 케이블로 연결하고 나서 하이퍼 터미널로 연결하는데 연결이 계속
안됩니다. 하이퍼 터미널에 문자가 뜨기는 뜨는데 A @.. 이런 식으로 한
문자식 뜹니다. 그렇다면 시리얼 케이블을 통해서 어떤 데이타가 오고 있
다고 생각합니다.
시리얼 통신을 하기 위해 게이트웨이에 깔린 리눅스에에서 컴포트에 대한
어떤 설정이 필요한 것 같은데 아시는 분 계시면 부탁드립니다.

해결했습니다.
lilo.conf와 inittab 파일에서 컴포트에 대한 약간의 초기화를
해주고 나니까 되더군요.
초기화 해준 값은 baud rate혹은 parity bit...뭐 이런거 있잖
아요. 시리얼 통신에 필요한 것들요.

근데 os 간 병렬 케이블 연결이라니 이게 무슨 말이죠?
그냥 시리얼 케이블로 제 컴과 게이트웨이를 연결해서 시리얼 통신
하는건데...! 물론 os는 윈2000과 리눅스이기는 하지만...
그럼... ^^

이종 OS간의 병렬 케이블 연결이라....
흠... 대답이 좀 부정적이군요.
HOW TO 문서중 네트워킹 --> PLIP 부분을 보면 좀 참고 될껍니다.
