우분투에서 해상도 바꾸려는데요

랩탑에 우분투를 깔았는데 메뉴에서 시스템->기본설정->화면 해상도에서

1024 x 768 까지 밖에 안되네요 ;;

윈도우에서는 1600 * 1200 인가 까지 갔었는데...

우분투에서도 1280 *1024 정도로 쓰고 싶은데

강제로 해상도 바꿀 수 있는 방법이 없을까요?

노트북 모델은 Acer Aspire 1692WLMi 이고요

그래픽 카드는 Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family 라고 써있네요 ㅋ

아 글구 확인해보니 최고 해상도가 1280 x 800 까지 갔었군요 윈도우에서..

915resolution 이라는 프로그램을 설치하셔야합니다. ubuntu.or.kr 에서 어떻게 설치하는지를 확인해보세요.~

위에분 답변 감사드리고요 ^^

님 말씀대로 915resolution 이라는 프로그램 깔고 설정했었는데

처음엔 안되더라고요 ;; 그래서 계속 915resolution 관련된 웹페이지 찾아 돌아다니고 하다가

어느 사이트에서

/etc/X11/xorg.conf 파일에 monitor section 에서

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Generic Monitor"
Option "DPMS"
# HorizSync 28-64
# VertRefresh 43-60
ModeLine "1280x800" 68.9 1280 1304 1336 1408 800 804 808 816
EndSection

이처럼 HorizSync 랑 VertRefresh를 comment 하고

ModeLine 줄을 추가하면 된다고 하길래 했더니 ㅠ.ㅠ 드디어~~ 되네요 ㅋ

혹시 915resolution 깔고도 안되시는분 있으시면 위처럼 시도해보세요~
