도와주세요! 노트북에 리눅스 설치후 문제입니다.

제 노트북은 삼성 S600이고 씨디롬도 없고,

하드도 2기가이어서 리눅스를 설치할려고

노트북하드를 하드젠더로 제 데스크탑에 연결하여,

데스크탑의 씨디롬으로 부팅하여 리눅스(레드햇 7.1K)를

laptop 으로설치했습니다. 데스크탑에서 설치를 마치고 나서

노트북에 하드를 다시 연결하여

부팅을 했는데, 부팅메뉴선택화면이 나와서

linux를 선택하여 부팅을 시켰습니다.

그런데 잘 되는가 싶더니 이런 메세지가 나오면서

더이상 부팅이 되지 않습니다.

"Uncompressing Linux... OK, booting the kernel."

이메세지가 나오고 난후 계속해서 커서만 깜박일뿐

몇 분이 지나도 계속 진행이 되지 않네요.

왜 이런 것인지 모르겠습니다.

혹시 이것 때문인가요?

제 데스크탑은 AMD CPU이고 VIA칩셋을 사용합니다.

그런데, 데스크탑에서 설치를 하면 커널이 데스크탑에

맞게 컴파일되어 있기때문에

노트북에 연결하면 노트북은 인텔 CPU과 인텔 칩셋을 사용하고 있어서,

커널과 맞지 않아서 부팅이 계속되지 않는것인가요?

아님 다른 이유가 있어서 인가요?

답답합니다.

노트북에 리눅스를 설치하려고 하니 벅차네요.
