도와주세요..(xxgdb설치에 관한내용입니다.)

안녕하십니까...
리눅스상에서 C program디버깅을 하려고 xxgdb를 구해서 다운받아서 압축을
풀었습니다.(gdb는 설치되어있는 상태입니다.)
그런데 다른 화일들과 달리 ./configure -> make ->make install
이런 순서들로 설치가 되질 않습니다. ./configure를 실행시켜도 그런 명령어가 없다고
나옵니다.
readme화일을 열어보니 아래와 같은 내용이 있는데요....
어떻게 하라는 건지 모르겠어서 이렇게 질문을 드립니다.

Quick Installation Notes

- Set BINDIR and LIBDIR in the Imakefile.
- Set XFILESEARCHPATH in xdbx.c so that xxgdb can find its app-defaults file.
- Create the Makefile with the "xmkmf" command.
- make all install

xxgdb는 무슨 이유에서인지 현재 개발이 안되고 있는걸로 알고있습니다.
automake도 지원하지 않는걸로 알고있고 따라서 ./configure가 실행되지
않는것도 어찌보면 당연하겠죠.
저도 몇번 시도를 했보긴 했는데 잘 안되더군요. 아마 컴파일러나 라이
브러리 버젼때문이 아닐까 하는 생각이 드는군요.

컴파일방법은 박민호님이 써주신 질문에 나와있군요.

- Set BINDIR and LIBDIR in the Imakefile. BINDIR과 LIBDIR을 수정하고(Makefile에서)
- Set XFILESEARCHPATH in xdbx.c so that xxgdb can find its app- defaults file.
xdbx.c파일에서 XFILESEARCHPATH를 정하고(X의 PATH를 넣으라는 뜻이겠
죠.)
- Create the Makefile with the "xmkmf" command. $ make xmkmf <= 이것을 실행하고
- make all install make 하셔서 모든걸 인스톨하라고 써있군요.
