레드햇 6.1에서 rmp 설치시.....

안녕하세요.
rpm 패키지가 설치가 안되는군요.
에러 메세지는 다음과 같습니다.

cannot get exclusive lock on database
error //var/lib/rpm/pakages.rpm을 열 수 없음

무슨 뜻인지 답변 좀 부탁드립니다.
