[참고] RedHat 7.x sendmail 외부에서 사용시

sendmail를 띄운 후,

telnet localhost smtp 로 내부 연결은 되나,

외부에서 telnet xxx.com smtp 로 연결이 안 되는 문제가 있었는데,

아래와 같이 하면 문제가 해결됩니다.

Fix In /etc/mail/sendmail.mc, change the line

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')

to

dnl DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')

and run

m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf

Then run /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart

말씀하신 내용이 sendmail.cf 의 내용중 아래 내용을 바꾸라는것이군요

/etc/sendmail.cf

DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA
를 아래로
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA

실제로 바꾸면 외부에서 접속은 됩니다만, 외부 Outlook에서 메일을
보내면 아래와 같이 에라가 납니다. 이것도 좀 알려주세요

받는 사람 중 한 사람이 서버에서 거부되었으므로 메시지를 보낼 수 없습
니다. 거부된 전자 메일 주소는 'siyeul@orgio.net'입니다. 제목 'test',
계정 'mail.X.com', 서버 'mail.X.com', 프로토콜 SMTP, 서버 응
답 '450 4.7.1 ... Relaying temporarily denied.
Cannot resolve PTR record for 210.x.x.x', 포트 25, 보안(SSL) 아니
오, 서버 오류 450, 오류 번호 0x800CCC79
