노트북 모니터 절전기능 활성화

Kubuntu를 설치한 노트북(Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100)에서
모니터 절전기능이 동작하지 않네요.
"에너지 스타"인가... 디스플레이 절전기능을 체크해 두면,
노트북의 모니터가 절전 상태로 들어가지 않고,
하얗게.. 변해 버립니다.

여기 게시판에 같은 문제를 검색해 보니,
모두들 절전기능을 "꺼" 버리는 방법만 있더군요-_-;;

모니터 절전기능을 활성화 하려면, 우째야할까요?

화면보호기 기능 키시면 모니터 끄는 기능이 있습니다.
화면보호기 명령어가 머더라;;
기억이 안나네요 -_-;
screen-탭탭 하면 나올꺼에요 아마도;;

네.. 감사합니다.
손님께서 말씀하신 것과 같이...
스크린세이버에서 기능에서, 모니터 끄는 기능을 켰는데..
스크린세이버 실행 후, 정작 모니터가 꺼질 타임에

모니터가 꺼지는게 아니라.. 하얗게... 변합니다.-_-;;
그러니까.. 어떻게 보면, 이렇게 변하는 것이 "절전 기능"인듯하는데,

제가 원하는 것은... 모니터의 전원이 아예 나가버리는 것을 원하거든요.
