ifup 이 좀 이상하네요

전에 잘 쓰던 랜카드인데,
netconfig로 IP 주소를 바꾸고 ifdown, ifup하는데,
ifdown eth0
ifup eth0
둘 다 아무 문제 없이 잘 되는 것 같습니다.
(별 다른 오류 메시지 없음)
그런데 ifconfig 해보면 eth0는 안보이고 lo만 보입니다.
ifconfig eth0 up 하면 eth0 디바이스가 없다고 나옵니다.
eth0 되게 하려면 어떻게 해야할까요..
재부팅도 해봤는데 여전히 잘 안되네요.

(이 글은 '설치&활용' 게시판으로 옮겨야하는데..
제가 못 옮기겠네요..)

이게 뭘까? 나도 궁금하다. 도무지 모르겠네...
