방화벽과라우터와 관계.. redhat 7.2

꾸벅.. 리눅스 초짜입니다. 멍청한 질문인지는 모르겠지만..
방화벽과 라우터하고 무슨 관련인지 궁금하군요..

글구 rc.firewall 파일이 wereis 명령으로는 찾아지는데
직접 이동해서 보니 보이질 않는군요..
ll , ls -a , ls-la 등 써봐도 안나오는군요..

ps - 혹시 저같은 무지몽매한 사람이 찾아가볼만한 사이트 있으면
추천좀 바라겠습니다. 안될때마다 여기저기 답변을 요구하는건
다른사람들 한테 피해가 될지두... ㅠ.ㅠ
