리눅스를 설치하려는데요~~ㅠ.ㅠ

제가 지금쓰고 있는 하드는 윈도우2000을 쓰고있거든요.(파티션이 하나
도 않나눠져있음)
근데 리눅스를 설치하고싶어서 따로하드를 하나 달았습니다.(3GB)짜리요
.

리눅스를 설치할수 있나요??
리눅스를 프라이머리로 되어있어야되지 않나요??
윈도우에 영향을 안미치고 리눅스만 따로 설치되나요??
도와주세요~~~ㅠ.ㅠ

기본적인 linux loader 로 안된다면

디스켓으로라도 쓰시면 됩니다.

설치할 때 옵션으로 MBR에 부트 이미지 생성 / Linux 파티션에 생성
을 선택하는 단계가 있습니다.
이때 MBR(Master Boot Record)에 설치하시면 LILO(리눅스 부트매니저)를
통해서 윈도우즈2000과 멀티부팅 하실 수 있습니다.
그리고 새로운 하드 디스크를 사용하신다면 별 문제 없이 설치될 것입니
다.

하드디스크의 1024 실린더를 넘는 공간에 리눅스를 설치하시면 설치가 제
대로 이루어지지 않습니다.(물론 LILO도 동작하지 않습니다.

그리고 참고로 말씀드리면 나중에 있을 사태에 대비해서 설치시에 만들
수 있는 부트 디스크는 반드시! 만들어 두시는 것이 좋습니다.
