acer(Travelmate 351TE)에 freeBSD를 설치하고 싶은데...

안녕하세요.
노트북에 freeBSD나 리눅스를 설치하기가 무척 까다롭다고 들었습니다.
제 노트북에 freeBSD를 설치하고 싶은데, 가능하지 알고싶습니다.

[사양]
cpu : pentium 3 697MHz
ram : 256M
하드 : IBM-DJSA-220 20G

다른 내용들은 잘 몰라 적지 못하겠네요.

설치가능여부에 필요한 사항들이 있다면 알려주세요. 제가 조사해서 다시 내용들을 올리겠습니다.

중요한 것은 메인보드 칩셋, 랜카드, VGA 칩셋, sound 칩셋 입니다.

제가 알기론 메인보드나 사운드가 ALi 칩셋일텐데, 최신의 경우가 아니기에 별 문제 없지 않을까 생각합니다.

일단 한 번 직접 설치해 보세요.

FreeBSD 6.0 이나, 설치에 편한 PC-BSD 1.0 rc1 등을 한 번 깔아 보세요.

# apt-get install HOPE
