리눅스 초보라고 하기에도 부끄러운 왕초보입니다.
회사 PC에 mantis(bug tracking system)을 설치하려고 시도 중인데, 네트웍 설정에서 꽉 막혀버렸습니다.

1) Bug tracking system에서 bug 등록시 회사 e-mail로 통보를 하고 싶은데, 회사 e-mail 시스템은 전용 보안 프로그램이 깔린 PC에서만 동작합니다. 이 프로그램은 당!연!히! 윈도우용입니다.

2) 삽질 끝에 보안 프로그램이 깔린 PC와 리눅스를 설치한 PC를 크로스 케이블로 연결하면 e-mail 통보가 가능하다는 것을 알아냈습니다. 그러나, 이 경우에는 다른 PC에서 bug tracking system이 설치된 PC에 접속할 방법이 없을 것 같습니다.

3) 현재 server로 사용할 PC에 네트웍 카드를 2개 설치하여 한 놈은 크로스 케이블에, 한 놈은 회사 네트웍에 연결된 라인에 물어놓았습니다. 설정의 문제인지 한번에 한놈 밖에 동작을 안 하네요. 회사 라인 쪽이 살아난 경우에는 mantis에 접속은 되나 mail로 통보가 되지 않고, 크로스 케이블 쪽이 살아 있는 경우에는 반대로 mail은 발송 가능하나 mantis 쪽에 접속이 불가능하네요.

4) 결론적으로 말하면, 랜 카드 한 놈은 mantis를 service하는데 사용하고 한 놈은 mail 발송용으로 사용하고 싶습니다.

OS 환경은 ubuntu 5.10입니다. 고수분들의 많은 조언 부탁드려요.
