[질문] 커널 컴파일시 Frame Buffer부분 비 활성화

안녕하세요..

ATI Radeon 7500유저입니다. XFree86-4.1.0에서는 지원하지 않고
4.2.0부터 지원된다고 하더군요.

그래서 우선 프레임 버퍼로 X윈도 띄우고 있는데, ntfs를 마운트할려고
최신 커널 소스를 다운 받았거든요.. 2.4.17
그리고 컴파일을 시키는데, Consol Driver 부분에서 VGA관련 항목을
다 Yes로 했는데,
Frame Buffer부분이 비활성화 되어있네요. 그래서 설정을 할 수 없어요
컴파일을 하고 나서 lilo.conf에 vga=791이라고 적으면 화면에 아무것
도 안나오구요.

제가 알아본 결과 커널 컴파일 시 개발버전일경우 막아놓은 수도 있다는
데,
강제로 하게 하는게 code matury(?) 이 옵션을 주라는데, 어디서 줘야
하나요..

리눅스 코리아나 적수네에 몇번을 올려도 답변이 없어 이렇게 도움을 청합
니다.
