isa 와 pci 두개의 이더넷카드를 설치할때..

안녕하세요.

매스커레이딩 박스로 쓰고 있는 작은 컴퓨터가 있는데

이전에 사용한 2.2.19 커널에서

2.4.16으로 올리려고 합니다.

이때의 상태는 realtek pci ethernet eth0

3c509 isa ethernet eth1 이었는데요.

이때에는 커널이 isa장치를 자동으로 잡아내지 못하여서

irq와 io address를 부팅옵션에 넣어줬었습니다.

그런데 2.4.16커널을 컴파일하면서 보니,

부팅옵션을 주지 않아도 isa장치를 잘 잡아내더군요.

여기까지는 좋은데, 부팅 후의 상태가

isa eth0

pci eth1 이 되어있더군요.

이전의 설정들도 다시 맞추기 힘들고, 케이블 바꿔달기도 쉽지 않습니다.

isa를 eth1로, pci를 eth0으로 되돌릴 수 있는 방법은 없을까요?

네트웍 드라이버를 모듈로 컴파일해서 /etc/modules.conf 로 alias를 통해

하는 방법도 있겠지만, 모듈보다는 커널쪽에 집어넣고 싶군요.

다시말씀드리면,

isaeth0, pcieth1 의 상태를 pcieth0, isaeth1 로

바꿀 수 있는 방법을 알고 싶습니다.

간단하게 네크워크 스크립트를 변경하면 그만인데 뭘 그렇게 어렵게 생각하시나요?

커널 버젼이 2.4대 라고 하신다면
/etc에 보시면 modules.conf 라는 파일이 있습니다.
여기에 보시면 alias라는 명령어로 정의된 부분이 있는데
alias eth1 8139too
alias eth0 8139too
이런식으로 되어 있는 부분이 있습니다. 여기에서 eth0와 eth1을 조정하시면 됩니다.
참고로 전 PCI방식의 RTL8139랜카드를 두개 사용해서 위와 같이 나옵니다.
그러니 찾아 보시면 쉽게 해결 될 것입니다.
