부팅시 자동 로그인 & 데스크탑 시작하기

우선 gdm(xdm, kdm) 데몬 서비스를 disable 시킵니다.
레드햇에서 ntsysv로 우분투 또는 데비안에서는 rcconf로
쉽게 할 수 있을 것입니다
그리고나서 /etc/inittab에서

Quote:

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1
....

에서

Quote:

....
1:2345:respawn:/bin/login -f hokim </dev/tty1 >/dev/tty1 2>&1
....

로 고쳐줍니다(배포판마다 좀 다를 수 있을지도 모르겠습니다
저는 우분투에서 작업했습니다)
hokim은 로그인 하려는 id입니다

그리고 로그인 하려는 id의 홈디렉토리로 가셔서
tcsh에서는
vi .login

startxfce4

bash에서는
vi .bash_profile

젠투에서는 아래처럼 하니깐 되는군요. 근데 이 부분은 잘 모르는 부분

근데 이 부분은 잘 모르는 부분이어서 무슨 문제를 일으키지 않을까 걱정되는군요.

1. ~/.bash_profile 수정
$ vi ~/.bash_profile
.....................................
if [ -z "$DISPLAY" ] && [ $(tty) == /dev/console ]; then
startx
fi

2. /etc/inittab 수정
# vi /etc/inittab
......................................
id:5:initdefault:
.....................................
x:5:respawn:/bin/login -f azalea

3. xdm 디몬 제거
# rc-update del xdm
