vmware에서 usb device 사용문제?

우분투에 vmware를 깔고 vmware에서는 윈도우 2000을 쓰고 있습니다.

전에는 별 문제없이 잘 사용을 했었는데요,

언젠가부터 vmware의 윈도우 2000에서 usb를 사용할 수가 없습니다.

"The specified device appears to be claimed by another driver (usbhid) on the host operating system which means that the device may be in use. VMware Workstation cannot safely take control of the device until the host driver is unloaded."

이런 메세지가 나오면서 프린터든 플래시 메모리든 사용할 수가 없네요.

도대체 뭐가 문제이길래 이럴까요?

우분투에서는 usb를 정상적으로 사용할 수 있습니다.

우연히 비슷한 문제로 검색하다가 답글 답니다.^^
(꽤나 오래된거네요)

rmmod 로 usb_storage 모듈을 제거했더니 vmware 에서 USB드라이브를
문제없이 읽어들입니다.
