아크로니스의 True Image 6.0의 부팅시디에 리눅스가?

부팅시디를 보았는데.. kernel.dat가 있길래 살짝보았는데..
부팅할때도 화면이 약간 의심스럽기는 한데;;
저의 허접한 실력으로는 모르겠네요.
리눅스를 이용하는거 같기도하고..

노턴고스트보다 성능더좋다는 평가를 받는건 좋은데..
리눅스를 ㅤㅆㅓㅅ다면? 공개를 했으면 하는 생각이네요..
아직 머 썼는지 안썼는지는 모르겠지만요

mouse.exe와 bootmenu.exe라는 파일이 같이있는데.
부트메뉴는 실행이 안되며 mouse.exe는 실행하면
CuteMouse v1.9 [FreeDOS]라고 뜨네요?

f11라는 파일내용은 밑에랑 같네요.
initrd? 음 더 의심되네요 ..

..? 해당 커널 소스 달라고 했을 때 안주던가요..?

GPL 커널을 쓴다고 해서 제품까지 GPL일 필요는 없는 것으로 알고 있습니다.

아뇨 그냥 심심해서 파일 열어보았습니다.
소스 달라고는 해보지 않았습니다.
그런데 원래 멀로 만들었는지 말해야하는건 아닌가요?
음.. @_@ 소스 달라고 메일 보내보도록 하죠~

Again, Linux is the secret behind the magic. The bootable CD contains a Linux kernel with network and SCSI drivers and the Acronis True Image 6.0 application. Using Linux allows Acronis to offer much better hardware support than ever possible in DOS. It also supports the majority of USB 1.0/2.0 and PCMCIA devices. While FireWire is not yet supported since the FireWire support in Linux is still experimental, it is expected to follow with the new Linux kernel release.

True Image 6.0의 부트 CD의 프로그램이 리눅스 기반이지만, 리눅스 커널을 단지 부트용으로 쓴 것이기 때문에 공개해야 할 부분이라면 부트 CD의 커널 설정 정도가 아닐까 합니다.
