Thunderbird 와 qmail

Windows2000 + Thunderbird 1.0(20041206)한글 을 사용중입니다.
썬더버드를 0.8즈음부터 사용하고 있는데, 어느날인가부터 회사의 메일서버를 통해서 메일 보내기가 안됩니다.
회사메일서버는 qmail + mysql patch인데

mozilla.or.kr에서 비슷한 경우에 대한 쓰레드를 찾기는 했는데 저의 경우는 SMTP인증을 사용중이기 때문에 해결이 안되네요. http://forums.mozilla.or.kr/viewtopic.php?t=2554
혹시 이와같은 경우를 겪으셨거나 관련된 내용을 하시는 분이 있으면 답변 부탁드립니다.
참고로 teramail도 함께 사용중인데 아주 잘됩니다. 썬더버드와 qmail이 잘 안맞는것인지.....
