ttssh에서 한글이 깨져서 출력됩니다...

홈페이지를 운영하는 서버를 리눅스 박스로 구성하여 운영하고 있습니다.
보안때문에 telnet 포트는 막아 놓고 ssh로만 접속해서 홈페이지를 관리하고 있는데요, 클라이언트로 윈2000에서 tera term을 이용하려고 합니다. tera term의 ssh 클라이언트 버전 ttssh.exe를 쓰려고 하는데 이게 한글을 제대로 지원하지 못하는지 vi로 텍스트 파일을 열고 한글을 쓰면 온통 ???? 로만 나옵니다.
또 커서로 한글 텍스트를 지나쳐가면 온통 다 깨져서 화면에 출력이 되는데 혹시 ttssh를 쓰시는 분중에 이런 현상을 해결하신 분 있나요?
ssh 클라이언트로 putty는 한글이 잘 되는데 유독 tera term의 ssh 버전만 그런 현상이 나오네요.
