Fedora core2 vncserver 서비스로 실행하기

vncserver라는 실행 스크립트가 /etc/init.d에 있습니다. 부팅시 자동으로 실행할 수 있는 것인데요. 사용법을 잘 몰라 안쓰다가 이번에 gnome-sesison 문제로 좀 보다가 사용법을 알게 돼서 올립니다.

간단히 말해서 ssh등으로 서버에 접속해서 직접 vncserver를 실행하지 않고도 부팅시 vncserver를 실행하게 할 수 있습니다.

/etc/sysconfig/vncservers 파일을 수정합니다.
VNCSERVERS="1:실행할 유저 이름"
(Ex. VNCSERVERS="1:jssong")
이런식으로 써줍니다.

그러면 부팅할 때 vncserver가 저 user로 띄워집니다.

그리고 팁으로 저렇게만 하면 한글 환경인데도 띄워진 vncserver에서는 영어환경으로 나올 겁니다.
/etc/init.d/vncserver 스크립트의 문제인데
su ${USER} -c \"cd ~${USER} && [ -f .vnc/passwd ] && vncserver :${DISP} ${VNCUSERARGS}\""
이 부분을
su - ${USER} -c \"cd ~${USER} && [ -f .vnc/passwd ] && vncserver :${DISP} ${VNCUSERARGS}\""로 - 를 하나 추가합니다.
