[질문] 커널 업후 그전 커널로 부팅이 안됩니다.

레드햇9의 커널 2.4.20에서 2.6.8로 커널을 업했습니다.
2.6.8로 커널 컴파일 해서 실행 잘되었습니다.
어떤 일로 인해 그전 커널로 부팅하려는데 부팅이 안되네요.
커널 업후 바꿔준건 없습니다.
왜 이런 문제가 생긴지 알고 싶습니다.

질문이 너무 간단해서 좋은 답변을 드리기 어렵습니다.
에러 메세지 라도....

/boot에 기존의 2.4.20의 커널이 존재합니까?

/lib/modules에 기존의 모듈들이 모여있는 디렉토리는 존재하시는지요?
(보통은 커널버젼으로 표기된 ....)

lilo.conf나 grub설정, 그외 부트로더 설정에는 이상 없으신지요...?

lilo의 경우에는 Liloconfig로 부트 이미지를 다시 섹터로 올려줘야 합니다만
어떻게 하셨는지 이글로는 알길이 없네요 :oops:
