[fedora core2]mplayer 설치...........질문입니다...yum사용...

root로 터미널에 로그인해서..

yum install mplayer라고 실행했지만

[root@cromx2 root]# yum install mplayer
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Base
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Released Updates
Finding updated packages
Downloading needed headers
Cannot find a package matching mplayer
No actions to take
[root@cromx2 root]#

라고 뜹니다...해결좀.....^^;;;;;;;;;;

/etc/yum.conf 파일을 여시고

[livna-stable]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (stable)

이 미러사이트를 추가하신 뒤에

yum search mplayer 해보시면

mplayer 관련 패키지 리스트가 나올겁니다.

그럼 패키지 이름 확인하시고

yum install [패키지이름] 하시면 됩니다

freshrpms 보다는 livna 의 mplayer 패키지 설치를 권장합니다.

livna 는 mplayer-plugin 패키지도 제공해서 웹에서 동영상 보는 것도 가능합니다.
freshrpms 의 mplayer 패키지와 충돌을 일으키기 때문에 freshrpms는 소스 리스트에서 삭제하고 livna 만 두고 업데이트 해야 합니다.
