쓸 데 없는 모듈이 올라올 때, 제거방법은?

젠투 2004.1입니다. stage 3설치이고, genkernel 로 커널 컴파일 했습니다.

부팅할 때 모듈 세개가 올라오려 아우성치다가 죽습니다.
아우성 치기 시작할때 화면 맨 위에는 커서의 깜박임에 맞춰 노랬다가 파래지는
줄이 한 줄 가고요.

커널 컴파일 외에는 이 모듈 죽이는 방법 없을까요?

/etc/rc.local 안의 파일에 시작시 모듈을 올리는 파일이 아닌가요?

그것 말고는 저의 지식으로는 레드헷에서 ntsysv해서 디세이블해주는게
다 인것 같은데 다른게 더 있나요? (저도 궁금해서 알고 싶은김에 같이
답변도 아니고 질문도 아닌..)

모듈을 올리는 파일이 아니고 쉘 스크립트 파일로서 시작 환경 설정 파일 비슷한것 입니다.

윈도우의 autoexec.bat 와 비슷한 역할을 합니다.

부팅의 마무리 시점에서 사용자나 응용프로그램 혹은 데몬이 설정한 명령을 실행해주는 녀석이죠.

modprobe -r 옵션을 이용하여 지우십시오.

rmmod 도 있습니다....

/etc/modules.d 디렉터리 에 있는 파일하고...
/etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 파일 (커널 2.4 를 쓰신다면 2.4 파일) 의 내용을 한번 쭉 훑어 보세요.

8139cp, 8139too 중에 하나만 써 주시면 됩니다.
랜카드 칩셋을 보셔서 .. 8139a, b 면 8139too 를 쓰시면 되고, 8139c, 8139d 면 8139cp 를 쓰시면 되는데, 초기에 나온 8139c 의 경우는 8139cp 가 아니라 8139too 를 쓰시면 될 겁니다.
아마도 둘다 적혀 있는 게 아닐까 싶습니다.
