파일전송에 관한 open source를 어떻게 구할수 있을까요?

저는 컴퓨터공학과에 재학중인 학생입니다.

Tynux Box X라는 실험용 보드에 메신져를 올리는 작업을 하고 있는데요..
메신져에 파일전송기능을 추가하고자 합니다.
파일전송 기능에 대한 open source를 구하려면 어떻게 해야 하는지 궁금합니다.

소스포지와 같은
오픈소스 사이트에 많이 있을것 같은데요.

저는 저번에 ftp library가 있길래 이걸 이용해서
짰었습니다.
