[질문] RedHat 6.2 에서 up2date 사용방법..

up2data 설치 하고..
(설치할때 의존성에 걸리는 패키지는 모두 설치했습니다.)

# rhn_register --nox 엔터

A socket error occured SSL_connect error, attempt #1
A socket error occured SSL_connect error, attempt #2
A socket error occured SSL_connect error, attempt #3
A socket error occured SSL_connect error, attempt #4

라고 나오는군요..

공식적인 지원은 이미 끝났지만.. 있는 패키지라도 업뎃하려고 하는데요..

설치한 . up2date 패키지 버전이..
up2date-2.8.39-1.6.2.i386.rpm 이군요.. (2002년 10월 2일 버전)

패키지 수작업으로 다운받아서 업뎃해야 되는지..

우울하네요.. --;;

여기 첫페이지에 보면요.

Note: If you are having SSL connection issues when connecting to Red Hat Network, ensure that you are using the latest versions of up2date and rhn_register.

그 링크를 따라 들어가서 up2date 관련 패키지를 먼저 업데이트하세요. 수동으로 받아서 하면되겠죠.

새로운 up2date 버전이 7.1 버젼부터 있더군요..

커널 2.2 대는 완전히 지원 중단 하기로 한것 같네요..

쓰읍..

패키지 모두 다운 받아서 autoupdate 로 업뎃 한번 해봐야 겠네요..

우울..
