꼭 좀 알려주서요......(shell program 보안)

현재 회사에서 SUN UNIX SERVER를 사용하고 있습니다...
주로 VI를 이용해 SHELL PROGRAMMING을 합니다,,아주 초보적인 수준이지
만 근데 제가 만든 프로그램을 다른 사람이 볼수 없도록 하는
방법이 있는지 궁금합니다...삼성에서 만든 일부 프로그램을 열어보니
이상한 기호만 나타나는것처럼 저도 이렇게 할수 없는지
아시는분 꼭꼭 가르쳐 주세요

파일의 read permission을 없애면 되지 않나요?
owner와 group만 읽고 쓰고 실행시킬 수 있고, other는 실행만 시킬 수 있게 하려면,

$ chmod 771 filename.sh

읽었을 때 이상한 글자들만 나타나는 건 그게 바이너리 실행파일이기 때문이 아닐까요?
