htmlspecialchars 함수...

htmlspecialchars 를 사용하면 문자열이 변하지 않습니까?

웹게시판중에 htmlspecialchars를 사용한게시판을 쓰는데

그로인해 한글이 깨지는 문자가 발생합니다..

htmlspecialchars가 문자열을 변경못하고 그냥 값을 넘겨주게 만들고싶습니다.

htmlspecialchars를 재정의 하고싶은데 어찌 방법이 없을까요?

페이지수가 너무 많고 일일이 찾아서 바꾸기는 문제가 있어서 질문드립니다.
