Three RPM questions.
I downloaded X Multimedia System 1.2.9 RPMs for Redhat 9.x, and these are :
xmms-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( XMMS )
xmms-devel-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( XMMS - static libraries and header files )
xmms-debuginfo-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( Debug information for package xmms )
xmms-gl-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( a kind of plugin )
xmms-mikmod-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( a kind of plugin )
xmms-vorbis-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( a kind of plugin )
xmms-esd-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm ( a kind of plugin )
And my Redhat 9 linux system already has an older version of xmms 1.2.7.
Query result by "rpm -qa | grep xmms" displays :
xmms-1.2.7-21.p
xmms-skins-1.2.7-21.p
