Mplayer 에서 전체화면이 잘 안되네요

안녕하세요?

이번에 노트북에 리눅스를 깔아서 쓰려고 ThinkPad T21 모델에 와우리눅스를
깔았습니다. 헌데 mplayer 가 굉장히 구형이더라구요 그래서 최신 버젼을 받아
객기부린답시고 ^^ 컴파일까지 다 해서 (정말 오래걸리더군요) 설치를 마쳤습니다

잘 돌아가는데.. 화면 꽉 차게 전체화면이 안됩니다
-vo 옵션에서 x11 을 주면 커지더라도 크기는 그대로고 주위가 검게 될 뿐이고
xv를 주면 제대로 확대는 되는거 같은데 화면이 그냥 초록색으로 깨져서 나오네요
vesa 옵션에서는 제대로 확대가 됩니다만 이게 ESC키를 눌러 빠져 나가면
커서만 깜빡 거리고 리눅스로 돌아가지를 못하더군요

그래픽 카드는 Savage S3 입니다.
