백스페이스 키를 돌려주세요.

레드헷 9을 설치후 백스페이스가 전혀 먹지 않습니다.

리눅스 콘솔에서 타이핑하면, 백스페이스가 당연히 먹고요.
대신 텔넷이나, ssh로 접속하면, 백스페이스가 먹지 않습니다.

주로 사용하는 에뮬레이터는 테라텀인데, 테라텀의 옵션으로 백스페이스를 먹게 할 수는 있는데, 테라텀에서 곧장 xterm 을 띄우고 (MS윈도우즈에서 X 클라이언트를 사용합니다.) 모든 작업을 하는데, 이 경우 전혀 백스페이스가 먹지 않습니다. (^H는 먹습니다.)

어떻게 해결해야 하는지요?
전에는 백스페이스 먹는 서버에 접속한후 xterm을 띄우고 다시 백스페이스 먹지 않는 서버로 로그인 해서 임시처방으로 사용했는데, 백스페이스 먹는 서버를 레드헷 9으로 재설치후 이 것도 백스페이스를 먹지 않아..... 사용에 많은 어려움이 있습니다.

Even I change erase... stty erase ^H...... it does not work
how can I fix it?

Even I change erase... stty erase ^H...... it does not work
