커널 컴파일하구 network이 안됩니다.

커널을 2.2.18 에서 2.4.18로 업그레이드했습니다.

커널컴파일은 사실 무작정 따라하기 식으로 해서

kldp.org에 나온대로 설정값을 주고 lilo.conf에 추가한후

재부팅후 새 커널로 부팅이 되었습니다.

그런데 network이 되지 않습니다.

ping해보면 로컬이랑 루프백은 되는데 외부로 빠져나가지 않습니다.

/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart해보면

interface eth0 Delying eth0 initialzation이란 메시지 나오고 failed가

나오네요. 메시지만 보면 eth0을 초기화하는데 지연된다는거 같은데..

커널 컴파일할때 권장값으로 다체크한거 같은데 어떤부분에서

걸렸는지 혹시 짐작가시는분 답변좀 드리겠습니다..

network관련부분은 대부분 y로 체크한거 같은데..-_-;;

그리고 아시면 재 컴파일 안하고 수정할수있는지도 부탁드리겠습니다.

사용하시는 이더넷 카드와 관련된 부분을 모듈로 컴파일하셨다면 모듈을 적재해 주셔야 할것이고, 그렇지 않다면 커널에 static 하게 넣어주셔야 할텐데요.

Network 관련이라면 사용하시는 device에 대한 정보를 올려주시는게 좋을것이고, Kernel에 관한 질문이라면 설정값을 올려주시는게 좋을듯 합니다.

아무것도 모르는 상태에서라면 대답해 주는 분은 오로지 [추측]만이 가능합니다.

커널 컴파일할때 설정값을 안줬습니다.

디바이스 중에서 리얼텍체크하는 부분이 있었는데 다시 살펴보니까

그게 빠져있었습니다. 체크하고 하니까 잘됩니다.

뭐.. 다른부분도 무자게 잘못했겟지만서도.ㅎㅎ

우선 되니까..기쁘네요..
