2004년에 Alpha processor 의 마지막 제품이 될 EV79를 내놓고 Alpha cpu는 이제 그만 둔다는 군요.
Alpha 에서 사용되는 OpenVMS 는 Itanium 에서도 돌아가도록 하고 Tru64는 HP-UX로 흡수되게 할 계획이라는 군요.
