파이어월 로 사용할 linux box 의 사양은 어느정도 입니까 ?

T3 (45M bps) 라인을 방어할 파이월을 linux로 구축하려고 하는데요...
box의 최소 사양을 알고 싶습니다.
그리고 상용 파이월에비해 linux로 구축한 파이어월은 어느정도의 신뢰성을 가지고 있는지도 궁금합니다.
