acpi쪽 내용이 많이 보이는 것 같은데 acpi는 잘 동작하는지요? 절전모드가 그동안 리눅스에서 제대로 지원이 안돼서 상당히 불편했는데 2.6에서는 얼마나 나아졌는지 궁금하네요.

내용에 acpi가 많이 나오는 이유는 apic 기능을 활성화시켰기 때문이죠.
(irq가 23번까지 나옵니다)
apic 자체가 acpi하고 pci 버스 등과 연계된 부분이 많은 것 같습니다
실제 apic끄면 저것들중 상당수가 없어질겁니다.

사용가능한 apic 기능은 별로 확인 안해봐서 모르겠지만,
절전모드는 별로 신경을 안쓰는게 좋을 듯합니다.
제가 알고 있는 쓸만한 acpi기능은 cpu 온도 체크입니다.
(/proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/temperature 파일 읽으면 됩니다.)
