Berkeley DB XML 1.1.0 첫 정식 릴리즈!

Sleepycat Software is pleased to announce the general
availability of Berkeley DB XML version 1.1!

I believe that you downloaded a beta version of Berkeley
DB XML some time ago. I hope that you found a use for it
within your projects. As you know, the Beta period was a
huge success. With over 2,500 downloads, we now have a
very robust community of active developers. You were
part of that success, and we want to sincerely thank you.

To download the new, generally available version of
Berkeley DB XML v1.1 and the latest documentation and
samples, please go to

Now that Berkeley DB XML is generally available, it
will have the same "dual license" as all of our other
products. For customers building open source
applications, the license permits you to use any
Sleepycat product at no charge with the condition that
you make the complete source code for your application
available for free public re-distribution. If you wish
to re-distribute your application and do not want to
freely release the source code for that application, you
must purchase a commercial license.

If you require a commercial license, we'd like to extend
a special offer to you in appreciation for your
participation in our beta program. We'll take 40% off the
list price if you purchase before August 31, 2003.

send us a link to the location where we can find the
open source distribution.
