vmware때문에 커널 설치 문제...

vmware를 설치할 때 커널 소스를 물어보잖아요..
제가 FTP버전이라..
커널 버전이 2.4.20-7이거든요..
FTP에서 보니까 kernel-2.4.20-7.src.rpm
이 있길래 설치 할려고 했더니..

오류 : %sourcedir /usr/src/hancom/SOURCES(을)를 생성할 수 없습니다.

라는 말이 나와서 설치가 안됩니다..
커널을 2.4.20-8로 업그레이드 하면 vmware가 설치가안된다고 해서요...
누군가 2.4.20-9를 사용하면 된다는데.. 이 커널은 어디서 구할 수 있을까요..아무리 돌아댕겨도 없던데...
rpm파일하고, 소스 파일까지요...
아니면 2.4.20-7의 소스라도..ㅠ.ㅠ...

마지막으로 하나만 더 질문..^^;;
만약 제가 kernel-2.4.-18 을 설치하면 그냥 마이너그레이드가 되는건가요..?..
아니면 무슨 문제가 생기나요..?..
